Proper surface preparation is critical to the success and longevity of our projects. Surfaces are first analyzed and then processed using the most appropriate methods. Black Cat specializes in blasting a wide range of items from structural steel, concrete, bulk storage tanks, silos and especially FGD system (fluid gas desulfurization) for coal-fired power plant.
Blasting allows us to remove rust, old coatings, and contamination in preparation for a high performance coating. We apply vapour – abrasive blast with the latest technique, efficiently combine water and different types of abrasive media ( steel grit, steel shot, sands) to utilize each their unique benefits and features. We are able to offer all blasting levels from normal blasting to SA2.5, depending upon client’s requirements and the chosen paint coating system.
We have a large 5,000 sqft workshop to accommodate and update the latest equipments and materials. Our onsite mobile services allow us to blast and coat pretty well any items as needed. When surrounding surfaces are protected and masked off, it lead to your sites left clean and organized.
