2,000,000 SAFE-MAN HOURS WITHOUT LTI – A PROUD MILESTONE FOR BLACK CAT® JSC AT THE LSP PROJECT”

The Petrochemical Complex In South of Vietnam Project (LSP) in Vung Tau, invested by SCG, has reached a proud milestone: 2,000,000 safe-man hours without LTI. This achievement is a testament to the commitment and relentless efforts of Black Cat ® JSC’s team to adhere to occupational safety regulations strictly.

Achieving 2 million safe-man hours at Long Son Project (LSP)

A momentous occasion was marked on August 29th, 2023, as Black Cat ®JSC celebrated 2,000,000 consecutive safe-man hours without LTI at Package A1 of the LSP project. This achievement underscores our company’s unwavering dedication to safety and our employees’ exemplary commitment to their work.

The Safety Management for the LSP Project

The Petrochemical Complex In the South of Vietnam Project, invested by SCG Group (Thailand), is located in Long Son Commune, Vung Tau City. It is a key project in the strategic development of Vietnam’s oil and gas industry. With a large workload and hundreds of contractors working simultaneously, exposure to hazards and risks leads to a high likelihood of occupational accidents. Recognizing this, BlaCk Cat JSC has consistently planned and implemented strict occupational safety regulations to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Awarding the 2,000,000 Safe-man Hours Certificate at the LSP Project Package A1 – Olefins Plant

To recognize and appreciate the commitment to complying with the project’s occupational safety requirements, on August 29, 2023, the main contractor TPSK, and primary contractor PTSC signed a decision to award the certificate for achieving 2,000,000 safe-man hours without any accidents to the collective supervisors, engineers, and workers of Black Cat® JSC who have been contributing to the project

Mr. Le Hung Manh – Head of the HSE Department at Black Cat® JSC  – shared: “Although we have achieved this proud milestone, we will not stop here. We clearly understand that safety is a long and continuous journey. We will continue to optimize our safety, health, and environmental management systems to achieve even higher safe working hours, not only at the LSP project but also across all other projects that Black Cat® JSC participates in.”
