Black Cat JSC Begins Installation of the First Insulation Sections at the Long Son Enhancement Project (LSPE)
Following its appointment as the main insulation contractor for the project, Black Cat JSC has initiated the first construction activities within the scope of the Long Son Enhancement Project (LSPE). At site, the installation team has carried out the installation of the initial insulation sections for the piping system, marking the commencement of the thermal insulation scope. Prior to this, surface preparation and cleaning of the piping lines were performed to ensure compliance with technical requirements before the installation of insulation materials. The execution of these initial activities represents a critical step in ensuring that the insulation works are implemented in accordance with the overall project construction schedule.Initial Activities Commenced at the LSPE Project
At the initial stage of execution, the engineering team is conducting a review of design documentation, mobilizing insulation materials, and allocating manpower to the designated work areas. In parallel, the piping systems within the work scope are being inspected and surface-cleaned to ensure proper substrate conditions prior to subsequent activities.
Surface Cleaning of the Liquid Ethane Pipeline
During the initial phase of the project, the installation team carried out surface cleaning of the pipeline routing from the port to the liquid ethane storage tanks. This activity is intended to remove dust, grease, and other contaminants that may adversely affect the installation of thermal insulation materials. A properly cleaned pipe surface provides suitable conditions for the insulation system to be installed in full compliance with technical requirements

Black Cat JSC Executes the First Meters of Insulation Installation
Following the completion of preparatory works, the installation team proceeded with the installation of the first insulation sections on the piping systems within the project scope. The insulation materials were pre-formed to match the dimensions of each pipeline and installed in accordance with the approved technical design. An external metal cladding layer was subsequently installed to protect the insulation system from environmental exposure and mechanical impacts.
