ASTM International – Standards For Steel Tubes

The ASTM standard covers a wide range of steel tubes, round pipes and high temperature fittings, common uses and special applications such as fire protection.

What Is ASTM International?

ASTM Standard is a list of technical standards for these materials and products which published by international organization ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials). The standards that ASTM issues are consensus and are accepted by the international community. Currently there are 12,575 ASTM standards that operate globally. ASTM publishes standards in 15 areas including stainless steel. ASTM does not require or enforce compliance with its standards, but between business activities of companies, organizations, governments … or contractual commitments, they may require compliance with some certain standards.
